PART-TIME | FULL-TIME
Coffee is the alpha and omega at Typika. We are eager to work with enthusiastic baristas who have the ambition to continually grow and improve. Do you understand extraction and know how to adjust a grinder? Are you not afraid of a busy café and taking responsibility for a shift? Then you are exactly who we’re looking for!
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista (working with specialty coffee, experience with technology, recipe creation, latte art)
- Genuine passion for coffee and ambition to be part of an active and friendly team
- Excellent communication with guests (fluency in Czech or Slovak is required)
- Professional approach and reliability
- Interest in working in the industry long-term
- The position is available part-time and full-time, but you should be available for at least 3 days a week and willing to work on weekends

FULL-TIME
Is gastronomy not just a job for you, but above all a passion and a hobby? Are you good with people? Is café hopping your favourite sport, and instead of fiction, do you read recipes before bed and devour the latest trends in hospitality? Do you love order and is organisation your middle name? Are you not afraid of everyday challenges, or of rolling up your sleeves when needed? Then please, read on — it looks like we might be a great match!
You would be responsible for:
- ensuring the smooth running of the café
- leading a small team of people (10–15 people)
- participating in the recruitment and selection of employees, their onboarding and adaptation, and taking care of our team
- coordinating and managing administrative processes (shift planning, ordering goods, stock intake, inventory checks…)
- getting creative with menu and recipe development, as well as checking product and service quality
- last but not least, working behind the coffee machine or on the floor, depending on your experience
Requirements:
- previous experience in gastronomy in general, as well as in a similar position, or experience with team management
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- independence and the ability to solve problems
- a professional attitude, strong work ethic and reliability
- a driving licence is an advantage
